On May 26, 2026, Huamjai Asasamak Association held a meeting to report on the achievements, outcomes, and lessons learned from the implementation of the project: “Strengthening and empowerment of Young Leaders for Climate Change Adaptation in Beng and Pakbeng Districts.” The meeting was held in Beng District, Oudomxay Province.
The main purpose of the meeting was to exchange and extract lessons learned from implementing activities in 6 target villages (Nahouay, Samkang, and Homxaykham villages in Beng District; and Xaysana, Ngon, and Houayxaengkham villages in Pakbeng District).
The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Bounxouang Khamphouvong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Executive Committee and Chairman of the District Administration Committee, and Mr. Sanya Watthanakoun, President of HJA. It was attended by a total of 42 participants (including 13 women), and certificates were also presented to the volunteers.
