Recently, HuamJai Asasamak Association provided equipment and agricultural seeds to 28 young women leaders/families in 5 target villages of Beng District, Oudomxay Province. This effort is to promote sustainable agricultural production, generate stable income for the families and increase the community’s capacity to adapt to climate change. It also ensures food security for the families and enables them to sell produce for income.
The chemical-free produce will promote better health for consumers and also help protect soil and water from chemical contamination.
