On July 12-14, 2023, HJA conducted a comprehensive training session titled “Saoban Research” for its staff. This initiative aimed to equip them with robust skills and capacity in process design, particularly in Saoban research methodology. The training covered the meaning, principles, and historical context of Saoban research, emphasizing accuracy and adherence to established principles.
HJA further developed a concise definition of “Saoban research” along with standardized terminology for tools and roles. This facilitates clear communication both within the organization and with external stakeholders when discussing Saoban research activities. Five staff members participated in the training, laying the foundation for future application and expansion of Saoban research within the target communities. HJA acknowledges the invaluable support of the Samdhana Institute in undertaking this important training.
