On February 17, 2026, the HJA held a meeting to report on the success, outcomes, and lessons learned from the implementation of the project: “Empowering Women Leaders in Promoting Climate Change Adaptation” at the Beng District in Oudomxay Province.
The primary objective of the meeting was to exchange and extract lessons learned from the activities implemented in five target villages (Ban Kam, Ban Tangdu, Ban Lai Yai, Ban Na Ngua, and Ban Nam Tuy).
The meeting was honored to be presided over by Mr. Bounxuang Khamphouvong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District Administration Committee, and Mr. Bountheung Sonvongxay, Director of the HJA. There were a total of 46 participants, including 33 women. The event also featured a certificate presentation ceremony for the volunteers.
